Terms of Service

Terms of Service – Darajat Academy

Effective and last updated: September 10, 2026

These Terms govern the live online educational services supplied by Darajat Academy LLC. By booking a trial, paying for a plan, or using the student platform, the adult learner or parent agrees to these Terms and the linked policies.

1. Provider and contact details

Darajat Academy LLC, New Mexico entity 0008119999 (formation file 3276897), 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. Email: info@darajatquran.com. WhatsApp/phone: +20 155 012 3821.

2. Service and minor learners

We provide live one-to-one Quran, recitation, Tajweed, memorisation, Arabic, and Islamic Studies lessons as confirmed in the plan summary. A parent or legal guardian is the account holder, contracting party, payer, and communication contact for a learner under 18. The guardian must provide appropriate supervision and must not request private teacher-child communication outside approved channels.

3. Free trial

A new learner receives one 20–30 minute trial without payment details or automatic renewal. It may be moved once if at least 12 hours’ notice is received. A no-show or cancellation after the appointment begins ends eligibility for another free trial, subject to a documented illness or emergency exception approved by the Academy.

4. Plan and service cycle

A service cycle is 4 consecutive weeks from the agreed start date, not a variable calendar month. Before payment we confirm in writing the lesson count and length, days, time zone, price, currency, taxes or fees, and the payment method currently available. An arrangement made only with a teacher does not change a balance or invoice unless the Academy confirms it in writing.

5. Payment and renewal

Payment is coordinated through WhatsApp. Depending on what is actually available to that customer, methods may include bank transfer, Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay through a payment provider, or another confirmed method. Availability is not guaranteed in every country. Renewal is manual; no new cycle is charged without the parent’s approval and payment. Any future recurring payment would require separate consent and clear price, frequency, and cancellation information before the first charge.

6. Scheduling, rescheduling, and attendance

A learner may reschedule with at least 12 hours’ notice, subject to availability and the cycle allowance: one lesson for a 4-lesson plan, two for an 8-lesson plan, and three for a 12- or 16-lesson plan. A replacement must be used by the end of the following cycle and cannot be moved again. Less than 12 hours’ notice or a no-show counts as a used lesson, with one emergency courtesy every 90 days when the message arrives before the lesson begins.

7. Lateness and waiting time

The teacher or Academy sends a reminder after 5 minutes. The teacher waits 10 minutes for a 30-minute lesson and 15 minutes for a 45- or 60-minute lesson. A late learner receives the remaining time and the lesson ends as scheduled. After the waiting period the learner is marked absent and the lesson counts as used.

8. Teacher delay or Academy cancellation

The learner receives all paid minutes, with missing time credited if an extension is not possible. If the teacher does not start within the waiting period, or the Academy cancels, a full replacement is added without using the learner’s allowance. We try to deliver it within 14 days; if no suitable family time is available, the customer may choose equal credit or a refund for that lesson. Two teacher no-shows or late cancellations within 30 days allow a free teacher change.

9. Technical issues

An Academy- or teacher-side failure is replaced minute for minute; if more than half the lesson is lost, the full lesson is replaced. A learner device or connection problem is treated as lateness or absence, and an available emergency courtesy may be used. A verified widespread meeting-platform or area outage is rescheduled without using the learner’s allowance.

10. Repeated absence, freezes, and holidays

After two consecutive no-shows without contact, future appointments may be paused until a workable regular time is confirmed. A plan may be frozen for 7–30 consecutive days, twice in 12 months, with 7 days’ notice. The cycle end moves by the frozen days. We try to retain the teacher and slot but cannot guarantee either after a freeze longer than 14 days. Academy holidays do not reduce the learner’s balance and are replaced.

11. Student platform

Access to sa.darajatquran.com is free for eligible current subscribers, and the Academy creates the account. No sale or payment takes place in the platform. Login details must not be shared. Access may be paused when the subscription ends or to protect the account.

12. Service quality and teacher fit

We guarantee the agreed lesson time, reasonable teacher matching, and a remedy when the Academy is responsible under the policy. We do not guarantee a fixed memorisation amount, fluency, Ijazah, or other outcome within a fixed time; results also depend on attendance, review, starting level, and family support. Within 7 days of the first paid lesson, and no later than the first two paid lessons, one free teacher change may be requested. If no suitable replacement is available within 7 days, we refund unused lessons and remedy any verified material service failure.

13. Conduct, privacy, and recording

Everyone must communicate respectfully. Harassment, abuse, unapproved private contact, and recording without permission are prohibited. The Academy does not record lessons by default. We may suspend service to protect a learner, teacher, account, or system, with balances handled according to the reason. Personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Materials and intellectual property

Accounts, worksheets, notes, and Academy materials are for the enrolled learner’s personal educational use. They may not be sold, publicly distributed, commercially copied, or shared through account access without written permission. Quran text and third-party public sources remain subject to their original rights.

15. Cancellation, refunds, complaints, and force majeure

Future cycles can be stopped at any time without a cancellation fee because renewal is manual. Ending an active cycle requires 7 days’ notice; future unused lessons after the effective date are handled under the Cancellation and Refund Policy. We acknowledge a complaint within 2 business days and provide a reasoned resolution or update within 10 business days. For events beyond reasonable control, we handle paid lessons fairly and do not exclude non-waivable rights.

16. Law and changes

These Terms are governed by New Mexico law while preserving mandatory consumer protection in the learner’s country or state, including Saudi protections where applicable. We may update the Terms, but a material change will not be applied retroactively to an active paid cycle without a lawful basis or appropriate consent.
