Cancellation, Refund, and Attendance Policy – Darajat Academy
Effective and last updated: September 10, 2026
This policy applies to one-to-one lesson plans supplied by Darajat Academy LLC and forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. Plain-language summary
- The service cycle is 4 weeks. Renewal is manual and there is no cancellation fee.
- Free rescheduling requires at least 12 hours’ notice and available plan credit.
- A late cancellation or no-show counts as used, with one qualifying emergency courtesy every 90 days.
- Academy failures are fully remedied, and qualifying future unused lessons are refundable as described below.
2. Free trial
A new learner receives one free 20–30 minute trial. It may be moved once with at least 12 hours’ notice. A no-show or cancellation after it begins does not qualify for another trial, except for a documented exception approved by the Academy.
3. Rescheduling allowance
| Plan per 4-week cycle | Maximum rescheduling allowance |
|---|---|
| 4 lessons | 1 lesson |
| 8 lessons | 2 lessons |
| 12 lessons | 3 lessons |
| 16 lessons | 3 lessons |
The request must arrive at least 12 hours before the lesson. The allowance is not free absence. A replacement must be taken by the end of the following cycle, is subject to teacher availability, and cannot be rescheduled again. After the allowance is used, the original lesson continues or additional paid time may be requested.
4. Late cancellation and emergency courtesy
A request arriving less than 12 hours before the lesson counts as used because the teacher’s time was reserved. One emergency courtesy is available every 90 days per learner when the message arrives before the lesson begins. The Academy bears this cost and the teacher remains paid. A no-show or notice after the start counts as a full lesson, subject to a documented force-majeure review.
5. Lateness and waiting time
A reminder is sent after 5 minutes. The teacher waits 10 minutes for a 30-minute lesson and 15 minutes for a 45- or 60-minute lesson. A late learner receives the remaining time, ending as originally scheduled. After the waiting period the learner is marked absent and the lesson counts as used.
6. Teacher or Academy cancellation
The learner receives every paid minute or a credit for missing minutes if the lesson cannot be extended. A cancellation or failure to start within the waiting period gives a full replacement without using the learner’s allowance. We try to deliver it within 14 days. If no suitable family time is available, the customer may choose equal credit or a refund for that lesson. Two teacher no-shows or late cancellations in 30 days allow a free teacher change.
7. Technical issues
Academy- or teacher-side failure is replaced minute for minute; more than half the lesson lost means a full replacement. A learner-side device or connection issue is treated as lateness or absence and may use an available emergency courtesy. A verified widespread meeting-platform or area outage is rescheduled without using the learner’s allowance.
8. Freeze and Academy holidays
A plan may be frozen for 7–30 consecutive days, twice in 12 months, with 7 days’ notice. The cycle end moves by the frozen days. We try to retain the teacher and slot but cannot guarantee either after more than 14 days. An Academy holiday does not reduce the balance and is replaced.
9. Stopping renewal and ending an active cycle
A future cycle may be stopped at any time without a fee; there is currently no automatic charge. To end an active cycle, send notice 7 days before the requested end date. Lessons during the notice period remain available. Future unused lessons after that date are refundable.
10. Full refund within 7 days
Each payment is fully refundable when the request arrives within 7 days of payment, no paid lesson has been used, and no benefit has been received from the service. Once service begins, the pro-rated rule below applies. Any broader mandatory right remains unaffected.
11. Refund after lessons begin
Future unused lessons after the effective end date are refunded at the actual per-lesson price paid in the plan. Earlier lessons are not repriced retroactively because of the package discount. Delivered lessons, late cancellations, and no-shows are not refundable. If the Academy fails to start or deliver an eligible paid service, the amount due is refunded as required by law.
12. Teacher fit and service quality
Within 7 days of the first paid lesson, and no later than the first two paid lessons, one free teacher change may be requested. We offer a suitable replacement within 7 days. If none is available, we refund the unused balance and remedy a verified material service failure. This is a service-quality guarantee, not a promise of a fixed learning outcome.
13. How to request and timing
Email info@darajatquran.com or WhatsApp +20 155 012 3821 with the payer and learner names, payment date, plan, short reason, and transaction reference if available. We acknowledge receipt within 1 business day, decide within 3 business days, and send an approved refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. The bank or provider may take additional time to display it.
14. Fees, unrecognised charges, and complaints
A gateway or transfer fee is deducted only if it is genuinely non-refundable and was disclosed before payment. No fee is deducted when the Academy is responsible. Report duplicate or unrecognised charges promptly and do not send a full card number; also contact your bank if unauthorised use is suspected. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and provide a reasoned resolution or update within 10 business days.
15. Rights and company details
Contacting us does not prevent any lawful remedy through a bank, payment provider, or consumer authority. No non-waivable right is excluded.
